College Life

I have had the amazing opportunity to take a Photoshop CS 5 class on campus this semester and here are two of my projects from the class :) 

I am excited to announce that I am currently working on a mock-up of my future website! I will post that when its finished, so be looking out for it ;)

Inheritance

When it comes to family, what is the first thing that comes to mind for you?


In a beautiful way I like to imagine that our inheritance here on earth is our family, God gave them to us for many reasons but one that sticks out for me is to experience relationship that has no bounds :)


For example, I love to think of all of the quirky qualities of my family mostly but what makes us unique is our bond. 


I recently had the opportunity to do a shoot for a beautiful family on the most gorgeous afternoon and wanted to share of few of the moments I captured with them, with you, enjoy! 
      

New Beginnings

Everything has a beginning, whether it be small and seemingly insignificant or dramatic and captivating.

My freshman year in high school I decided to take a few photos of the sunrise on my camera phone which at the time was silly but with a few editing tools on the phone I captured what would be the beginning of a new found beauty. 

It struck in me an idea that I could begin to capture and express myself through photos. At that point I knew very little, if anything about photography. I like most people always had used a point and shoot disposable camera to capture events like birthdays and other everyday get togethers. 

My junior year I took a photography class that began to open my eyes to a whole new world, cliche as it might sound, it enlivened in me something I never thought possible. The ability to truly and purely express myself. 

I continued on in photography with my film camera before learning about the enticing world of digital to now reach this point in my life. 

Part of the beauty of life is our expressions of heart we like to call personality. 

This blog post, my first, is to document the personal growth of my art; like spring time blossoms grow and bloom and allow life to be seen at it's peak.  I hope you are able to grow with me on this journey we call life :)
